    I purchased a Belgian Malinois for a family dog and protection (teenage daughter). I have no worries when she jogs by the lake alone regularly. Dante likes the exercise as well and happily trots along side her. Extremely intelligent, highly trainable. If you can give it enough activity and play time, they make great pets.
